Acu-Drain HDPE is a complete drain, waste and vent system of pipes and fittings, manufactured from high-density polyethylene (HDPE). Polyethylene Drainage Pipe is a thin wall non-pressure drainage pipe widely used in commercial and industrial construction, for removing wastewater to the appropriate point in the building. Acu-Drain poly pipes can be used for siphonic drainage systems, greasy laboratory waste, general plumbing pipe and stormwater drains. Poly drainage pipe is often joined with EF drainage fittings, which are also available from Acu-Tech. Poly pipe drainage is commonly used in areas with high rainfall, such as the Pilbara area in W.A. and in city areas, where large concrete or asphalt surfaces collect a lot of rainwater. Because water in drainage pipe systems is not under pressure, drainage pipe walls are much thinner than HDPE pressure pipe. This makes Acu-Drain pipe extremely lightweight and easy to cut.
