Electrofusion Reducer Fittings

An electrofusion reducer fitting is used to join two lengths of poly pipe that are of different diameters. Electrofusion reducer fittings are also used to join a long spigot fitting to a piece of pipe, where one of them is larger or smaller diameter than the other. With a size range from 25 x 20 mm to 180-125 mm, electrofusion reducing fittings come in SDR 11 (which also suits SDR 13.6 & SDR 17). SDR 11 and SDR 13.6, and SDR 17 electrofusion reducers are rated to PN16 water and 1000 kPa gas. Electrofusion reducing fittings are made from PE100 material with a precisely moulded energising coil of wire, ensuring uniform melting for a strong electrofusion joint and the minimisation … Continue reading Electrofusion Reducer Fittings
