Our team is aiming to raise a significant $22,500, with every dollar going directly to the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research. Supporting Vital Melanoma Research in WA
The funds raised from our ride will specifically support the work of Professor Jonas Nilsson and his dedicated team. Their vital research at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research is focused on improving the survival rates for melanoma patients right here in Western Australia.
Melanoma is the third most diagnosed cancer in Australia, and approximately 1,400 people are diagnosed with this disease each year. These alarming statistics highlight the urgent need for new treatments and a deeper understanding of this complex disease.
